New York City Councilman Charles Barron and members of 100 Blacks in Law Enforcement Who Care will join UAM and the Black community this Wednesday, March 21, at 7:00 p.m. at the Elks Plaza, 1068 Fulton Street (near Classon Ave.) in Brooklyn. Take the C train to Franklin Ave. The topic is Sean Bell et al from A to Z and Where Do We Go From Here?
I have also invited attorney Neville Mitchell to appear at this community forum. Attorney Mitchell et. al represent the parents of Sean Bell. UAM provided a community presence for attorney Mitchell's client, attorney Jamal Deshong, in People v. Deshong.
Between November 25, 2006 and today, we have received countless signs in People v. Oliver et. al., that the fix is in. Judas goats are encouraging us to remain passive while civil lawyers haul in another payday. Compare the absence of private attorney generals in the Black community. A civil lawyer and a private attorney general have different agendas.
The major sign that a fix was in was the five assassins, in Sean Bell et. al., agreeing to give grand jury testimony. No lawyer is going to permit a client to give grand jury testimony without enjoying transactional immunity. When a person testifies, without waiving immunity, you can bet your bottom dollar that the prosecutor has given a wink to defense counsel.
If Mike Tyson had been attending weekly, UAM forums, he would have never been convicted in Indiana on rape charges. Tyson was lured into waiving immunity and testifying before a grand jury without getting a wink from the prosecutor.
What you don't know can kill you. Ignorance is the number one killer in the Black community. There is a reason why Blacks are still being miseducated.
