Somalian Pirates or African “Robin Hoods”

Although piracy was full-blown before July 4, 1776, The Antelope was the first case to secure Supreme Court review of the legitimacy of the international slave trade. Pirates had raided North Atlantic shipping and had seized The Antelope. American revenue agents would later seize The Antelope. The enslaved Africans would be disposed of by a lottery to American, Portuguese and Spanish claimants.
The Supreme Court decided, however, that while slavery was violative of natural law, it comported with the usages, laws and general assent of both colonizing nations and the peoples of West Africa. Thus, slavery was constitutional.
One hundred twenty of the enslaved Africans, nonetheless, were repatriated to the American Colonization Society. They were shipped to Liberia. Thirty enslaved Africans were placed under Spanish law and dispatched to Florida.
England went from organized crime into statehood not on the backs of Africans but from their minds. Francis Drake was well aware of Spanish wealth but he lacked the knowledge to highjack the haul. He solicited the help of Cimarrons, who were escaped Africans.
The Cimarrons gave Drake his first view of the Pacific Ocean. They were aware of the geography of the Americas and they hated their former slave owners. This alliance brought great wealth to England which became a world power.
Drake started his enterprise as a slave trader under the auspices of John Hawkins. Drake would become commander of the slave ship Judith. Slave trading would take a back seat to looting Spanish ships. John Hawkins joined other investors in forming a crime syndicate. Queen Elizabeth gave the crime syndicate her nod but she lacked the finances to invest in it.
This would change after Drake hooked up with the Africans. Drake was especially hard on the Catholics. When he returned to England, his investors secured profits exceeding 1,000 percent on their investment. Queen Elizabeth received a hefty percentage of the stolen loot.
Piracy enabled England to get on its feet. Trade would replace piracy and these crime syndicates would establish their own plantations in the Caribbean and North America. The queen knighted Drake. He would be known as Sir Francis Drake.
When President Barack Hussein Obama was bowing to Queen Elizabeth II, I doubt if he was thoroughly acquainted with British history. Of course, the queen was fully aware of the origins of her wealth. This is why she was touching First Lady Michelle Obama. No one, even Queen Elizabeth II, will symbolically bite the Black hands that once fed her ancestors.
Geopolitically, Somalia is significant. It is adjacent to the Horn of Africa and, in the Bible, was probably referred to as the “Land of Punt.” The British and the Italians colonized it in the 19th Century. Somalia became a United Nations trust property in 1946 and it became independent in 1960.
The Clinton Administration unsuccessfully invaded Somalia in 1992. Clinton is a Rhodes Scholar obviously with new designs on Africa. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is aware of her husband’s master plan. President Barack Hussein Obama has allowed himself to be surrounded by Clintonites. Bill Clinton is obviously pimping the Obama Administration, calling the shots and collecting the dough.
We should never embrace the white media’s definition of our people. In European circles, Nat Turner, for example, was a “terrorist.” In reality, he was a freedom fighter. Nonetheless, this country refuses to memorialize him and we refuse to push the issue. This can also be found in our puny effort to memorialize Sonny Carson.
These Somalia pirates were once fisherman. Seventy-six percent of Somalia’s resources are rooted in agriculture and fishing. Arable farming is restricted to only one-fifth of the area. Few farms are mechanized.
Fishing has become difficult, if not impossible, because of the environmentally, terroristic acts of Europeans who not only dump toxic waste in the Indian Ocean but also out-compete local fishermen with the use of deep-sea trawlers.
In assassinating three Somalis, the Obama Administration may be embarking on engaging in war crimes. Environmental racism is already suffocating Somalia. This racism did not start with the Obama Administration but the early signs point to the maintenance, if not the expansion, of the Bush policies in Africa.
