Re: Attorney Michael Warren
Dear Mr. Hynes:
The New York Police Department was eager to start another “ long hot summer:” by administering Jedburgh justice to a descendant of enslaved Africans in the 77th Precinct. This act of police terrorism occurred on June 21, 2007, the longest day of the year, in Brooklyn.
Attorney Michael Warren witnessed this crime. His concern for justice prompted the police to beat him and his wife, also, even though they were some distance from the original crime scene. If the badges of slavery had already been suppressed by the Thirteenth Amendment in New York, the beatings would constitute the crime of witness intimidation.
Because your office has adhered, historically, to the slave code, the likely scenario will be a criminal complaint styled People v. Warren et. ano. and containing a criminal charge of obstruction of governmental administration. This criminal charge, rooted in slavery, could form the basis for the automatic disbarment of attorney Warren while shielding the police terrorist.
New York enacted its “no sock” law to aid and abet white terrorists, acting under color of law, to harm descendants of enslaved Africans. The public policy of this state is to sanction slavery even though it is currently engaged in a machination to apologize for its enslavement of Africans under state law. This public policy will be applied to People v. Warren et. ano.
I have been informed that a confidential HNIC, who is also a public figure, is closely connected to law enforcement and particularly to your public agency. It would not be in the public interest to believe that this HNIC can pacify the Black community in the state-sponsored beatings of attorney Warren and his wife. Instead, I am requesting that you keep me abreast of any court date.
During my legal career, I had worked closely with attorney Warren on many matters of public concern. In addition, he was my associate director when I headed the NCBL Juvenile Defense Project. I know of no incident in our relationship which would prompt me to believe that he engaged in any semblance of criminal conduct on June 21.
