KKK and the Jena 6
USA Today reported on January 17, 2008 that the Ku Klux Klan will be armed and in full regalia on Dr. Martin L. King Jr. Day in Jena, LA. The Ku Klux Klan has always run Jena. The legal system is under the auspices of the KKK. Black lawyers have to behave like “Calhoun” in Jena. At the very least, the “Jena 6” should have already been pardoned or the cases dismissed.
There was once a youth prison in Jena. It had to be closed down because the KKK prison guards abused Black youths well in excess of the Eighth Amendment. The management of the youth prison had been given to the political cronies of Gov. Edwin Edwards who Blacks put in office.
It was a Louisiana prison which was subject to judicial review in the Supreme Court for Eighth Amendment violations. Justice Clarence Thomas argued that beating a Black man half to death fell far short of constituting cruel and unusual punishment.
The KKK gave Blacks a one-day permit to come to Jena on September 20, 2007 as part of a full-scale pacification program and a media event. Blacks had to be out of town by sundown and they must never return to Jena en masse.
I wrote in the Amsterdam News in October 2007 that Blacks would never return to Jena. They went to Jena to give themselves some media attention. No one would mistake a Black leader today as remotely resembling Dr. Martin L. King, Jr., Malcolm X or Fannie L. Hamer.
On January 21, 2008, the Jena 6 including Mychal Bell will be subject to the jurisdiction of the KKK while we are busy banning the “N-word.” Sen. Hillary Clinton has switched to using “spade” without any objection from silver rights leaders. Instead of saying “niggerwork,” she is now saying “spadework.” We are unable to connect the dots.
