Black Leaders Not Supporting Obama

Dumbing down occurs when a people are denied access to critical information and no public square exists for its exchange. Blacks were forbidden from having a public square during slavery and after slavery the Colfax Massacre made it clear that white terrorism would accompany any attempt by Blacks to erect a public square.In the past twenty years, the only public square for Blacks to meet and exchange information has been the UAM weekly forums. They are the only Black-led and Black-financed, weekly, political assemblies in the tri-state area. On the other hand, there are thousands of weekly, religious assemblies for Blacks. Most of them are under the "FBI" program.There is a reason why there is no Black agenda and no Black plank in the platform of the Democratic National Convention even though Back delegates constituted a quarter of its delegates. Black presence is not Black representation. Black delegates went to the convention in Denver without a Black agenda. You must pay to play.If the Democratic National Convention had been a religious convention, the Black delegates would have been able to deliver a religious message. The weekly, well-financed, religious assemblies would have been able to carve out a white-oriented message since Christianity, as we know it, is based on white supremacy: a white Jesus.Until Blacks are able to enjoy Black-led and Black-financed, regular, weekly assemblies, politics will always be an exercise in futility. The elevation of Sen. Barack Obama to the White House will only be an extension of our putting "Black faces in high places." The political spoils only go to groups that are well-organized and practice politics 24/7.Before we reach this point, Blacks must experience a voter education program and a political education program. Those Blacks who have gone directly from voter registration to the polling booth are like those Blacks who registered for a pre-med, college curriculum and, afterwards, went straight to the emergency room. The patient was in trouble.It is now being reported that there are eight million Black voters who are still unregistered to vote. Under the guise of a belated voter registration campaign, Black leaders will attempt to register those Blacks in the next two weeks provided that Blacks contribute to their political coffers. Most states will close the door on voter registration thirty days before Election Day.This information has been known to Black leaders for years. It was certainly known to them in June 2008 when it was obvious that Obama would be the presumptive Democratic nominee. They had time to duplicate the "Freedom Summer of 1964." Instead, they were enjoying first-class cocktail sips and golf tournaments financed by the Fortune 500.In the meantime, I have done more to support Obama politically and I refuse to be a member of the Democratic Party. Most of my writings are censured over the public airwaves and can only be read in the New York Amsterdam News. White corporate sponsors have forbidden Black talk show hosts from uttering my name.My writings have been done at a great political price. These writings are still the subject of federal litigation. Appellate judges questioned me about them on August 8, 2008 in the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. The Brooklyn Grievance Committee had already retaliated against me for writing them.Former New York State Attorney General Eliot Spitzer was encouraged to disbar me. I had consistently warned Blacks, for years, that it was a mistake to elect Spitzer to any office including dog catcher. No one was prescient to make this connection. Most of my forecasts, including Spitzer's shenanigans, have come true.
