Emmett Till’s Bogus Federal Probe When Blacks announced that Bill Clinton was the first "Black president," the rest of the world knew that we were not ready for prime time. Instead, we were prime candidates for a return to chattel slavery. First, there have been several Black presidents including this country’s first president. Second, Clinton signed some of the most repressive laws in this nation’s history. Third, the world is asking, "who is your daddy?" Every other ethnic group has its own leaders even though they are anonymous. When the Democratic Party recognized that Black votes were critical on November 2, it recruited Clinton to energize Black voters. HNICs are distrusted by the Black masses and their slavemasters know it. Furthermore, Blacks are too disorganized and too miseducated politically. Blacks will be the laughingstock of politics after November. In order for the Democratic Party to win this year’s presidential sweepstakes, Blacks must show up at the polls in record numbers even though the Democrats have outright written off the poor and have no plank in the Democratic agenda for descendants of enslaved Africans. Plantations Politics? Yes! Blacks will show up because Black leaders have told them that politics is not based on a quid pro quo and they believe it. It is, according to these leaders based 2 on who you send home rather than what you bring home. This explains why Blacks never receive any political bacon. Many whites will go to the polls on November 2 to vote for the man who is right on the race question. In other words, the president who will annihilate Blacks? For these whites, it is a question of domestic terrorism. It is for this reason that Congress has lifted the ban on assault weapons and passed the Patriot Act. Blacks, on the other hand, will be searching for the "Great White Father" on the ballot. Indians pursued this course in the nineteenth century with no success. For Blacks, it is a question of security even at the expense of freedom. At best, Blacks are seeking to preserve the status quo. Black economic progress, for example, is out of the question with no political agenda for Blacks in sight. In the meantime, Black leaders are slapping each other on the back for adding more Blacks to this year’s voting rolls. This boasting is reminiscent of slaves down at the slave quarters boasting about the added bales of cotton that they picked for the slavemaster. Blacks will get just a little more out of voting than their ancestors received for picking plantation cotton. We can now choose, with great difficulty, the "Great White Father." Political hustlers will receive, for perpetrating fraud, political crumbs. This is a vicious cycle and it repeats itself every four years. 3 This is not an attack on voting. It is an assault on political illiteracy. The current political aptitude of Blacks can be found in Carter G. Woodson’s The Miseducation of the Negro. Blacks are headed in the wrong direction by following Judas goats. Only a sheep faces this plight. Before he made his transition, Kwame Ture consistently emphasized the need for political education in the Black community. No such institution currently exists and Blacks are doomed politically. Politics refuses to tolerate or acknowledge ignorance and poverty. Bush 43 and Sen. John Kerry alike are appealing to the rich and the middleclass only. Their programs are marked departures from the work of Dr. Martin L. King, Jr. in seeking to narrow the disparity in wealth at the expense of his life. Black leaders are also running away from poverty and the impoverished. In economic terms, native, indigent people must be written off the books as obsolete. Soon after the Civil War, the federal government promised to protect Blacks from white terrorism which terrorism of yesterday makes terrorism today look like a Sunday school picnic. I am currently in Coweta County, Georgia investigating an October 13 hanging which the media and Black leaders are seeking to suppress from public attention. Black man dates white woman. Nine decades after the Civil War, federal protection for Blacks was nonexistent. In fact, the FBI and the KKK were fraternity brothers. The left hand and 4 the right hand were acting in concert. Black life had no more value than the life of a roach. Under the Constitution, Blacks are still three-fifths of a person with no federal protection. Duties without rights. This reality allowed two white supremacists to walk into a Black man’s home and snatch fourteen-year-old Emmett Till for whistling at a white woman. Even today, a Black person’s home is viewed as a slave quarter. The federal government, influenced by powerful southern members of Congress, allowed the culprits to get away with murder. When I heard a few months ago that Black leaders were demanding a reopening of the Emmett Till murder, I became suspicious especially since anyone with a ticking brain cell know that all Black leaders and elected officials are undercover agents for the police. They are not required to give Miranda warnings, however. As it turns out, the Justice Department is contemplating prosecuting six elderly Black men for the torture and near beheading of Emmett Till. This is a complete fabrication of history. Slavery was still in effect throughout the South in 1955. Because of Thirteenth Amendment violations, Black men could not be accomplices to white supremacy. Most young people are unaware of the Emmett Till story. This is not their fault. It is ours. John Ashcroft, with Negro complicity, intends to put the blame on 5 Blacks. Tawana Brawley did it to herself. Lynched Black men committed suicide. In 1955, whites, on the other hand, took credit for domestic terrorism. If the United African Movement, which I chaired, had not invited Emmett Till’s mother to the Slave Theater, many persons would have missed the opportunity to honor a heroine. No current or past Black elected official in New York attended this vital forum. Today, some of these AWOL officials are demanding a federal probe into Emmett’s death. These same officials will not touch Tawana Brawley, Amadou Diallo, Patrick Dorismond, et. al. They know that Till’s proposed investigation will not offend white supremacy but it will psyche out gullible Blacks. "60 Minutes" this past Sunday, credited a young Black filmmaker with forcing the Justice Department to seek a federal probe. Sen. Charles Schumer is credited with applying political pressure. All of these claims are bogus and are intended to brainwash Blacks especially on the eve of a presidential election. What happened to the Congressional Black Caucus? On August 28, 1955, the FBI could have identified every principal and every accomplice in Emmett’s death. J. Edgar Hoover, the FBI czar, was a member of a KKK fraternity at George Washington University. His frat brothers were given employment preferences in the hiring of FBI agents. Many civil rights leaders 6 were FBI snitches. In 1955, their role was to conduct a pacification program like in the Amadou Diallo case. During the time that the four assassins of Amadou Diallo were being subjected to a mock trial in state court, Schumer chaired a Senate subcommittee on the judicial system. His influence and clout alone could have influenced the Justice Department to indict the four assassins. He chose to look the other way despite the fact that Gov. George Pataki had manipulated the criminal justice system to secure the acquittals. The venue of the trial was illegally removed form Bronx County to Albany County and the Black judge was kicked off the case. Pataki conspired with others to deprive Blacks of their civil rights. The assassination should never be forgotten and there should be a wellfinanced grassroots effort to ensure that these assassins land in the federal penitentiary. Nineteen hollow point bullets hit Diallo in a fusillade of 41 shots. No probable cause preceded this police confrontation. In fact, these assassins were renegades from their police duties. Mayor Michael Bloomberg promoted them after they murdered Diallo. This bogus scam to re-open the investigation into the death of Emmett Till was hatched after Mamie Till-Mobley made her transition. The federal government will not build a memorial on the National Mall for the four hundred 7 years of suffering of Africans in America but it is belatedly concerned about righting a wrong by designating elderly, Black men as scapegoats in the murder of Emmett Till. Sit back and identify the Negro agents as they ignore Brawley, Diallo, Dorismond, et. al. while rewriting history in the murder and torture of Emmett Till. Every Black person should not only register a protest to Sen. Schumer but demand that he also not only reopens investigations into the kidnapping and rape of Tawana Brawley but also the police murders of Amadou Diallo and Patrick Dorismond, among others.
