Blacks Need Think Tanks
The first of two days of Advanced Critical Thinking and Systems Analysis will begin on December 6. It will also include a primer on military science which is currently at work in New York City. Deception is blocking us from seeing the big picture. This is fatal. Political, legal and economic issues are being discounted like international bankers discount commercial paper.
We are even missing all of the ramifications of the Plaxico Burress Antonio Pierce ordeal. There is a reason why Mayor Michael Bloomberg has become vocal. All Black leaders will remain silent and I will not be back on radio for months. This is why the December 6 & 13th seminars are important.
White minority rule and the Obama presidential appointees are also not topics. Critical thinking must be employed on December 6 to give us some forecasts. We must connect the dots and think outside the box. Thing are looking bad for the home team. We are suffering a mental crisis.
I receive compliments from throughout the United States for the weekly columns in the New York Amsterdam News in addition to my writings under www.reinstatealtonmaddox.net. These are writings happening because no one else is assuming the responsibility of giving our community a comprehensive understanding of the legal, political, economic and historical issues that affect it. We need think tanks to be competitive economically and politically.
Black politicians and preachers are failing to serve and satisfy their roles as shepherds even though they are handsomely paid. They are only begging for more money. No quid pro quo. Their job is to frame and disseminate relevant information for our survival.
Without comprehensive information and critical analysis, we will continue to knock on the wrong door, talk to the wrong people and raise the wrong questions. This will eventually lead to mentacide. In the meantime, we must employ whites to think for us. What is the future for our children?
White people, for starters, have adequately funded think tanks. They will not leave home without one. Bill and Hillary Clinton control the Democratic Party because of the Democratic Leadership Council, a centrist think tank. Thus, President-elect Barack Hussein Obama must staff his administration with Clintonites. Clinton's personnel and ideas are steering the country.
Obama went to Chicago and became a community organizer after graduating from Columbia University. He believes in grassroots organizations and it will be hard for him to take seriously Blacks who disbelieve in them and who denigrate a Black agenda.
Malcolm X, Cong. Adam Clayton Powell, Jr., Kwame Ture and Marcus Garvey also pushed the need for Black organizations. These are the words of Obama: I learned that meaningful change always begin at the grassroots, and that engaged citizens working together can accomplish extraordinary things. [Emphasis supplied]
Critical thinking and systems analysis are the glue that bind individuals together. Critical thinking puts diverse people on the same page. Systems analysis provides for succession in leadership. This is the issue that is at the center of term-limits or more appropriately, white minority rule in New York City.
Blacks are going to be in for a real surprise. Obama is not against Blacks. He is against Black disorganization and Black dependency, however. Obama went to Chicago to study at the Saul Alinsky School to become a community organizer. Most Black leaders go through either Atlanta or Chicago.
The Republicans were actually condemning the teachings of Saul Alinsky. He reportedly coined the term “community organizer. They also denounced socialism because Obama's father was a leading African socialist in Kenya. This put him in conflict with Jomo Kenyatta. He was kicked out of the Kenyan government and he would not return until after Kenyatta's death.
The lack of information is the parasite of the Back community. The arguments against Obama went over our heads during the presidential debates. We need think tanks and the means of disseminating information. Whites were using code words throughout the presidential campaign.
If we were armed with political and economic information, it would tell us that when the Big House on the plantation is on fire opportunities arise for the enslaved Africans. This is our time. A repression for whites amount to economic and political opportunities for Blacks. It is the Negroes of the we sick boss ilk who are in trouble.
Someone in our community must write regular and analytical articles of meaningful stature in lieu of think tanks. It should not be me. I have no income. The New York Amsterdam News is unable to pay me weekly for expenses. Two persons assist me weekly to confirm the facts, research the materials, edit the writings and type the articles professionally.
The only way that I can keep these writings active each week is to sponsor continuing educational courses and create a quid pro quo to satisfy the mission of Dr. Carter G. Woodson. Black leaders have made sure that I earn no income and I must be denied access to the airwaves.
Critical thinking is a continuing educational course. It is a condition precedent to effective writing. Even legislation requires critical thinking and critical writing. Black politicians are unable to engage in critical thinking. Thus, no major legislation for Blacks has been passed since Cong. Powell.
There will be a refresher course and a critical and analytical discourse before we embark on new materials on December 6. The course will continue on December 13 for persons who registered on December 6. In addition, there will be an all-day writer's workshop in January 2008 arising out of the December 6 registration. Critical thinking gives rise to effective and persuasive writings.
Registration will start at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, December 6 at the NAC Building, City College, 137th Street and Convent Avenue in Harlem. The persons who attend these continuing educational courses are responsible for the maintenance of my writings in the newspaper and over the Internet. Like radio and television programs, these writings require sponsors. On the other hand, it requires donations similar to those given public radio like WBAI-FM.

Dear MR MADDOX,
I Agree with you 100% AND LIKE YOU I AM HAVING DIFFICULTY EARNING MONEY.
As a conscious Black woman I am in agreement with you that we are in a serious peril here in NY as Black people. How can we meet? WE must meet.
I am not afraid to associate with you.
I believe you. My interest is coming from the interest of our children. I have been reading civil rights chronicles forwarded by Mrs.Evers and realize in the early struggles so many Black men studied to become "civil right's" attorney's...now NO ONE WANTS TO TOUCH THAT JOB WITH A TEN FOOT POLL.
Please...stop keeping yourself from me. Please allow me to meet you. I wish I could have known about the Dec.6th situation. I would have loved to be there. However my daughter is having a recital on Sunday the 13th. please tell me how I may help you.
I am married, and not flirting. YOU SAY WE NEED A THINK TANK YET IGNORE MY PHONE MESSAGES AND COMMENTS.
Please respond.
