What is the history of the Tea Party and why is President Barack Obama immediately raising the white flag? He is unhesitatingly ready to compromise on the demands of the Tea Party. This is a bad omen. Blacks have routinely ended up on the short end of the stick. See, for example, the three-fifths compromise and the Compromise of 1877.
Without a Freedom Party, where are Blacks headed? Blacks are witnessing a political tug-of-war with the Tea Party shifting the Democratic Party to the extreme right. This is the Second Reconstruction. Is it time for Blacks to jump ship or to stay on the Titanic? The Freedom Party is not a slave ship.
For Blacks who are jumping ship, our next port-of-call is Buffalo, a political venue for the Liberty and Free Soil parties in the nineteenth century. We will walk in the footsteps of Harriet Tubman, Frederick Douglass and Henry Highland Garnett. Their footsteps will get us back on the path to freedom.
There will be a statewide, planning conference in Buffalo on December 4-5 to overturn the contrived election results on November 2, among other things. We were robbed! This will be the first time that the Freedom Party will especially reach out to Blacks and Latinos in western New York.
A roundtrip Greyhound bus ticket to Buffalo is $142.00. UAM will be sponsoring a bus trip to Buffalo on December 4-5 with double occupancy lodgings at one of the best hotels in Buffalo coupled with a free buffet, breakfast on Sunday morning for only $175.00. Single occupancy rooms are also available at an added cost.
