Are Blacks Committing Political Suicide?

With no political strategy and no political educational program in effect and putting all of our eggs in one basket, Blacks are committing political suicide. Blacks are the only group that also put all of its stock at the head of the political ticket. Many Blacks believe in and are practicing political feudalism.
Politics, itself, is warfare. Since Blacks have no knowledge about or respect for military science, we are unable to fashion a political strategy. Whites, on the other hand, embrace military science and uplift political and legal warriors and they have no problem commencing and sustaining political warfare.
Blacks rely on preachers to engage in political rhetoric and racial diplomacy while these religious pimps privately stuff their own pockets. Our political conduct defies the U.S. Constitution. By relying on Black preachers, politically, Blacks are violating the First Amendment which, more than two hundred years ago, placed a wall between church and state.
You will never find a white presidential candidate for historical and constitutional reasons preaching from any established, white pulpit. It happens all the time in the Black church. Conduct a search for white preachers who are also elected officials. Blacks must either enforce the First Amendment or submit to slavery.
Bush 43 is ready to seal the deal on officially converting the Black Church into a house of political prostitution through his unconstitutional, faith-based initiative (FBI). Blacks should remember that “he who pays the piper calls the tune.” Government funding of Negro preachers amount to political genocide. Blacks are finished politically.
The electoral votes from Ohio ostensibly decided the presidential sweepstakes for the Electoral College. The CEO of Diebold, the major manufacturer of electronic voting machines with no paper trails, stated, beforehand, that he would deliver Ohio’s electoral votes to the Republicans. He made good on his promise.
With the election of Barack Obama to the Senate, history is once again repeating itself. While Newt Gingrich was seizing Congress and ushering through his Contract on America, Ben Nighthorse Campbell of Colorado and Carolyn Moseley Braun of Illinois were being introduced to the Senate. This year, it is Ken Salazar of Colorado and Barack Obama of Illinois who are looking forward to Senate introductions in 2005. They will be political pacifiers.
The Republican strategy is a replay of the strategy of the Confederacy. In the next four years, Blacks will be extirpated from the political landscape while simultaneously celebrating the Obama victory. He will sit in a Senate thoroughly dominated by uncompromising Republicans.
Black leaders have never established any cushion including a fallback position against this rise of fascism. They have been too busy chasing every camera in sight to entertain whites who have an urge to see any funny, Black face on television especially if it is for an Amos ‘n’ Andy skit.
Harriet Tubman, Sojourner Truth, Ida B. Wells and Fannie Lou Hamer, among others, must be turning over in their graves. The Blacks masses, today, have dismissed their ancestors’ sacrifices by elevating political buffoons over our ancestors’ history of struggle.
In other communities, these political hustlers would be roundly and publicly condemned whenever they raise their ugly, political heads on radios or at rallies. Instead, Blacks seek to run with the hares and hunt with the hounds. Several Indian leaders with the same mindset sold out their tribes who, afterwards, were expelled from their ancestral lands.
The next political scam will occur in New York City in the 2005 mayoral campaign. Again, Blacks will be pursuing a top of the ticket campaign strategy. This is like a homeless person who wins a $75,000 lottery and goes out and immediately purchase a Cadillac or a Mercedes.
To make matters worse, Black Democrats are pursuing this path to help Mayor Michael Bloomberg win re-election. It is called divide and conquer. Like the last mayoral campaign, Bloomberg will reward these political traitors handsomely. History continues to repeat itself in the Black community. This is why Blacks are headed to concentration camps. Bush 43 has just received this political mandate --four hundred more years of slavery.
Politics is like the law of evidence. You must first establish a political foundation. While it is said that all politics is local, it means that you must first seize local offices before political interest naturally shifts to the top of the ticket. These local offices provide the impetus for the exercise of political power at the top of the ticket. By pursuing the top of the ticket without securing a political base, Blacks are flying backwards politically.
Former Mayor David N. Dinkins was ineffective politically because whites controlled the local, political and judicial offices including the New York City Council. Whites still control the City Council even though seven of the white incumbents are representing historically-oppressed communities.
Twenty-six of the current City Council members are white. If these seven councilmatic districts were seized by Blacks and Latinos, there would only be 19 white members in a 51 member City Council. Instead of going after control of the City Council, Black leaders want to sleep in Gracie Mansion while maintaining the status quo.
Black leaders refuse to formulate a political strategy to control the City Council. First, the control of the City Council by Blacks, Latinos and Asians would upset the status quo and disrupt Bloomberg’s plan to pursue a white supremacist agenda. Second, it would give so-called minorities unquestioned political power in New York City with an opportunity to address the plight of Blacks.
The Voting Rights Act of 1965 was never intended to give Blacks political power. It was intended to establish a system of plantation politics for Blacks with a political structure putting Black leaders on the political dole. This structure includes the election and selection of Negro preachers, plantation overseers, racial diplomats, Negro informants and slave drivers. We are maintaining our own oppression.
To make my point, name one single piece of major legislation by Congress that has been passed, since Cong. Adam Clayton Powell, Jr.’s legislative prowess, to ameliorate the plight of Blacks. Instead, Black members of Congress have supported repressive legislation including disparate sentencing laws and laws that make a distinction between crack cocaine and cocaine to fatten the prison-industrial complex. Black crack cocaine users, for example, are treated much more severely than white cocaine users.
If Blacks in Coweta County, Georgia had been pursuing bottom-up voting rather than trickle-down politics, the classification of Bernard Burden’s death as a suicide rather than as a homicide could have possibly been avoided. Burden’s body was found hanging from a tree in a rural, white neighborhood. The coroner, an elected official, summarily classified his death as a suicide without an autopsy or lab test.
Very few Blacks in Coweta County went to the bottom of the ballot to spot the coroner’s race. Yet, the coroner’s classification in the Burden case has divested the criminal justice system of its jurisdiction and has given the insurance company an excuse for dishonoring Burden’s life insurance policy. Burden’s mother must dig into her own pocket to pay the Black funeral home and she will be denied access to the courts to initiate a civil action for remedial and distributive justice.
Similar legal consequences occur from determinations by housing court judges, family court judges, criminal court judges, district attorneys, zoning commissions to name just a few low-level officials. The decisions of these officials have greater impact on the lives of Blacks than a president; yet, Blacks look exclusively at the top of a political ticket and ignore its bottom. Black voters must start at the bottom of the ballot and proceed to the top to build Black power. In short, we must co-author the ballot.
The call for the “ballot or the bullet” is no joke. Politics is serious business and it calls for a substantial investment in brains, money, energy and resources because politics affect every aspect of our lives. It is not enough for Blacks to go to the polls once or twice annually. Politics is about making the right choices daily especially with the spending of greenbacks.
