Political Predictions for 2005: Political Flops Our condition as a people is getting worse as we put more Black faces in high places. More Blacks are in prison than in 1965 and, now, more Black males are in prison than in college. Black male unemployment is worse today than any period since the Great Depression. Poverty and the lack of health care are worse today. Aids is killing our people. Blacks are now getting lethal injections in hospitals. The list of fatal abnormalities is endless. Blacks are in sundry political offices but they are afraid to exercise any political power. White supremacists do not surrender power without a fight. The mere fact that the membership in the Congressional Black Caucus will increase from 39 to 43 will have no effect on white domination politically. Black proxies go hand-in-hand with white votes. Black elected officials have the right to be present in legislative forums but they are unable to exercise any rights as lawmakers. This is why no one in his or her right mind calls them Black lawmakers. They are rightfully called elected officials. The last lawmaker was Cong. Adam Clayton Powell whose birthday is November 29. He was expelled from Congress with the warning that no one should attempt to emulate him, for example, in either the New York City Council, the New York Legislature or Congress. Powell got laws passed. President Lyndon Johnson knew that the Voting Rights Act of 1965 and the donkey would remake the Black community into a plantation. Black elected officials would serve as plantation overseers, racial diplomats, double agents, saboteurs, bounty hunters, snitches and slave drivers. You insist on calling these persons by their official titles given to them by white supremacists. Since the death of Cong. Adam Clayton Powell, Jr., there has been no significant legislation passed by a Black elected official anywhere in the United States except for their fingerprints on the contemporary, Black Codes. The Black community is clueless. These repressive laws are sending Blacks to prisons in record numbers and the unsuspecting and gullible Black masses are financing their own oppression through votes and campaign financing. While we are on the lookout for genocide, we are engaging in suicide. On November 2, 2005 our political plight will be the same as it was on November 3, 2004. We will neither be sending anyone home in New York City or bringing home any political bacon. This will be by design through double agents who are receiving payments from both white Republicans and white Democrats. These political parties are both united around white supremacy like President-select George Bush and Sen. John Kerry. What is our political ideology? We have neither an ideology nor an agenda; yet, we are hallucinating about putting another Black face in a high place. Like 2004, only the political hustlers will walk off with the bounty in 2005. Another heist will take place in February 2005. High-profile Black leaders are already planning ways to extort finances from the Democratic National Committee. Any self-respecting person would have had enough with the Democratic Party. These are political whores all to ready to turn political tricks nominally for the benefit of the Black masses. The payoff could be in the eight figures. The loot will be divided up among thieves. Hopefully, Blacks will be able to connect the dots or at least get a whiff of a fishy smell.
