How the Freedom Party will Win in 2010

Most sports, generated in the United States, are divided into two halves. There is a halftime to reassess the first half and to fashion a game plan for the second half. A team must have executed the original plan or it must develop a new plan. To be sure, "if you fail to plan, you plan to fail."

Politics and sports have the same paradigm. President Barack Obama is about to experience the mid-term elections. If the Democrats lose either the House or the Senate or both, President Obama may, in effect, become a lame duck president. His promise of "CHANGE" will certainly go down the drain.

White supremacists have a plan. The first step is to "Hold that Tiger." At the very least, the status quo must be maintained at all costs. The second phase of the strategy is to establish a "Tea Party" to shift politics to the right. Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck have been hired to be its chief cheerleaders. They enjoy media access. White supremacists are serious about turning the clock back to 1787.

In the meantime, Blacks are still celebrating the presidential inaugural of President Obama which happened, way back when, in 2009. Leading Blacks are still inebriated. Their eyes are on fun and not on politics. Like the NAACP, they are simply criticizing a right-wing movement while failing to create a game plan of, at the very least, resistance.

The Freedom Party is a political idea whose time has come for enslaved Africans who are determined to flee the political plantation and a Negro morontocracy. Paraphrasing Dr. Martin L. King, Jr., "[Ignorance} is the Negro's Burden and America's Shame". Blacks also heard the same message from Dr. Carter G. Woodson in "The Miseducation of the Negro."

History is in the making and Blacks in New York have an opportunity to make history. While the state has stringent election laws, third-party politics, if the barriers are surmounted, is welcomed in New York. In a state that practices ethnic politics, Blacks, Latinos and Asians have no political voice.

It is "Mission Impossible" for virtually any gubernatorial candidate to win an office without the endorsement of a third party. Ditto for the mayor of New York City. This is why Mayor Michael Bloomberg sponsored, in part, the mayoral campaign of William Thompson. On the other hand, Bloomberg enjoyed endorsements from the Republican and Independence parties last year.

The plan for the Freedom Party is based on the principle that organizations must play a key role in its success. Organizations have greater access to individuals and enjoy more resources. Giving a people a political voice is not equivalent to engaging in partisan politics. Any grassroots organization, not controlled by white supremacists, should be playing a key role in giving oppressed people a political voice.

New York Election Law requires that a political party seeking ballot status must collect signatures from half of the state's congressional districts. Organizations, based in different congressional districts, can help solve logistical and communication problems. Manhattan and Staten Island have no organizational presence in the Freedom Party. Thus, the Freedom Party has had to rely on the Cotton Club as a political venue in Manhattan.

Organizations have to excite and ignite their own memberships. No organization can simply rely on the central committee of the Freedom Party to generate interest in the Freedom Party. This means ongoing internal communications. There must be representation on the central committee and its members must have a singular aim and destiny. All developments must be reported immediately to heads of organizations.

Organizations must sustain themselves in this political endeavor and they must also play an active role in sustaining the central activities of the Freedom Party. The Iroquois Confederacy gave this organizational concept to the United States and it is enshrined in the United States Constitution.

The Freedom Party must not practice an informational deluge as is being encountered by the NYPD. Irrelevant concerns must be discarded. Relevant information must be acquired like e-mail addresses and the residences of the specific congressional districts of the supporters of the Freedom Party. This information is necessary for the deployment of human resources and for communications.
